How THE MOBILE app works
Simple four-stage process
Enter dealership info
Simple dropdown menus in the app allow teams to identify precise locations – perfect for larger groups and individual retailers. Once complete, you’re ready to start scanning using the app on your mobile phone.
Scan plates and VINs
Start walking around the parked cars and scanning will operate continuously – you will hear a beep each time a scan is recorded. Plates can be scanned from between 2m and 8m. VINS can be scanned from between 10cm and 30cm.
Check and edit results
Once scanning is complete, review your list of entries and make any required edits via the app – you’ll be able to see all images, date & time stamps plus Google Map of location. Give each scan a green tick when you’re happy.
Export & share data
With your list approved, it's time to share the results. Choose from a variety of filetypes (csv, xls and zip) and confirm if you want to include images. Share via email, by secure link or direct with other apps on your mobile phone.
